Bio

Linus Bahr works as a drummer and producer in Berlin. His musical work ranges from jazz and hip hop to experimental pop culture. He studied jazz drums at the University of Music and Performing Arts Weimar with Prof. Jo Thönes and also received lessons from Frank Möbus and Achim Kaufmann. Masterclasses with Zach Danziger and Jim Black broadened his education and led him to his own projects and collaborations at an early stage. With the duo Mojoism, he released a self-titled debut album in 2015, which took him on concert tours to Russia, among other places. At the same time, he expanded his musical spectrum in the direction of hip hop: as a member of the crew Spätkauf Pakila, he opened for Döll, Rap-K, Taktloss and PTK. Together with rapper Pink Viagra, he played support shows for Von Wegen Lisbeth, Mariybu and Juicy Süß. As a producer, he has worked with Juicy Süß, Yung FSK 18 and Nike101, among others. With his band FAT MANNERS, he released his debut album payments in 2023, which was reviewed by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and led to two tours of Germany. He is also active as a studio and live drummer, including for the Leipzig soul singer Camona and the South African alternative punk band Bash Tru. <- back
